ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

The Nomad International Short Film Festival (NISFF) is a platform for ultra-short films that convey messages of hope, faith, and transformation.

We warmly welcome students, creatives, church members, and first-time filmmakers to share their stories. You don’t need a large crew or expensive equipment—only a meaningful message and a heart to inspire.

Each year, NISFF encourages young people, filmmakers, and media professionals to grow in their faith and explore the limitless possibilities of creative expression through film screenings, discussions, and hands-on workshops. Whether your film tells a story of redemption, love, struggle, or faith, we believe that short films can touch hearts, change lives, and make a lasting impact.

2025 Special Theme–MISSION 15
This year’s signature competition challenges filmmakers to begin with a 15-second Gospel invitation (a brief statement about Jesus and his positive impact on the viewer), followed by a creative expression in a short film lasting between 1 minute and 1 minute 30 seconds. Each entry must fall within this time range.

From 2026 onward, NISFF will expand to include a wider variety of short film genres and styles, such as documentaries, interviews, narrative shorts, animation, experimental films, comedy, and music videos, giving more voices and stories a stage. Please note that the festival only accepts short-form works—feature-length films are not part of the competition.

The festival also features film screenings, community discussions, workshops, and opportunities to connect with filmmakers from around the world.

We invite you to share your voice, create boldly, inspire deeply, and grow in faith as you join this mission.
