ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

The Nomad International Short Film Festival (NISFF) is Mongolia's premier platform for ultra-short films that carry messages of hope, faith, and transformation—each told in just one powerful minute.

We warmly welcome students, creatives, church members, and first-time filmmakers to step forward and share their stories. You don't need a big crew or expensive equipment—only a message that matters and a heart to inspire.

Every year, we spotlight stories that reflect gospel truth, Christian values, and the power of personal testimony. Whether your film speaks of redemption, love, struggle, or faith, we believe one minute can touch a heart, change a life, and echo into eternity.

2025 Special Theme–MISSION 15
This year's signature competition challenges filmmakers to begin with a 15-second Gospel invitation (a statement that mentions Jesus and his positive impact on the viewer) followed by their own creative one-minute expression of that invitation.

Starting in 2026, NISFF will expand to welcome a wider variety of short film genres and styles—including drama, documentary, animation, and experimental works—inviting even more voices and stories to the stage.

The festival features film screenings, community discussions, hands-on workshops, and opportunities to connect with filmmakers from Mongolia and around the world.

We invite you to share your voice. Create boldly. Inspire deeply. Join the mission.

JUDGE & JURY

For its inaugural edition, the Nomad International Short Film Festival (NISFF) has established a professional and discerning jury process. We are honored to present awards judged by a panel of esteemed film directors and producers from Mongolia and around the world.

The NISFF Jury Awards celebrate outstanding creative achievements that combine artistic excellence with spiritual depth. Our jurors carefully review each submission, selecting works that convey truth, faith, and hope—all within just one powerful minute.
